Comments from Bula’s Panel of Expertise with working experience from Exxon-Mobil, ConocoPhillips and Stanvaz
Bula Oil Field is un-optimized producing field with 25 million P1 remaining reserves (OOIP : 139 MMBO).
The up-side potential of Bula is enormous.
About 70 -80 wells were reactivated from a total of 337 old wells. Cumulative Production was 8 MMBO (1896 – 1970), Peak Production was above 1500 BOPD in around 1971.
Increase production to 2000 BOPD in 2027 can be conducted by 35 New Infill drillings, 55 work-overs, EOR and 30 new T-Type drilling Technology
which can triple production. Water Injection EOR techniques will also be applied to increase the Bula oil production.
3D seismic must be run early next year to optimize the new T-Type drilling, to reduce the number of infill drilling wells and to accurately locate the infill drilling wells as well to better mapping of the underlying Pre-Fufa formation which has huge upside potentials.
With Bula’s well maintained production facilities, it means that development capital can be directed to rapidly increase in oil production.
